Our lot don't seem to know what they're going. All the fire marshalls were supposed to check in at the assembly point... they didn't. Reception didn't seem to have a comprehensive list of the visitors that had arrived at and left our building - they kept asking for people who had already left to show themselves. It wasn't pretty.
the upshot of it all was that I got to stand around in a ropey part of bristol for a bit and then have my lunch delayed by 45 minutes cos the canteen had to account for the lost time.
But you did have the honour of my company in the dinner queue didn't you? And you got to buy me a cup of tea. That surely eased your pain just a little?
