The following Dodgers have been smited by the JDK for their crimes against Jam:
All the girls! for picking on the JDK and damaging his already delicate self esteem!
The Basserd Who Nicked Copper's Stuff For the offense of nicking Copper's stuff. You are a tw*t, whoever you are and we all hope you get run over by a tram in Nottingham. Or Liverpool. Or whereever else they have trams!
Copper For the crime of playing with her Wii instead of her Jammie pals!
Lucius Vorenus & Titus Pullo are definately the C-3P0 and R2D2 of the Roman world (incidental characters around which the historical plot revolves)...I was sad to see the death of Julius Ceasear but thought that the final scene was incredible..series 2 is even better...

I'd never thought of them that way, but now you mention it, they really are. Imagine that - someone ripping off Lucas' work rather than the other way round!
Ciaran Hinds was (as always) stunning as Caesar and the assassination scene was incredibly powerful!
Apparently James Purefoy really comes into his own during the second season! looking forward to it!
Yes Rome is indeed an excellent series. I am very much looking forward to watching the second series with the JDK. I'm a bit squeamish so there's many scenes where I have to avert my eyes and hide behind the cushions, but there's plenty of scenes with half naked men to make up for that
I haven't even heard of this one...Is it available to us colonists or is it a Brit exclusive?...Sounds like a good one......Ben
It was an HBO/BBC collaboration. I think HBO pretty much paid for it and the BBC made it as it's populated by exclusively English actors. Pretty damn good though. You can get both seasons on amazon.
Also, bizzarely, you can buy a laser comb on amazon too. Laser. Comb. A bargain at $500.
Well, thanks, and I might have bought it if it wasn't for Catfish's mention of the naked men...And the lasercomb wouldn't help me either, I've got a full head of solid gray hair...Ben

American money, British actors..its a winning combination..
I checked the historical accuracy of the plot the other day and reading the history of that particular period of Roman history was weird as I had a clear picture in my mind of all the protagonists...
So they reckon the laser comb has no side effects? Scroll down to the pictures at the bottom, yes, his hair does look thicker on the second one, but by the third it looks like it's been fried! Most importantly, note how he had no wrinkles before using the laser comb!
Sorry. I only read as far as 'Laser Comb' and thought 'cooooooooooooool'.
Putting laser before anything is cool: I'm gonna use my laser phone in a minute. And then pop up the laser stairs for a cup of laser tea. See cow much cooler all those things sound!
