I have to go to London tomorrow for work.  There's been a train crash at Reading (my train has to go through Reading).  Looks like it'll be a long and not too pleasant journey.  I just hope it's cleared by the time I'm coming home on Wednesday.

I made it back in the nick of time - I got the 16:30 train from Paddington - it turns out that a couple of my colleagues were in London yesterday too - they missed that one and got the 17:30 train - there was a signal failure and they were stuck on it for 5 hours - they eventually got home at 23:30 (see how clever I am using 24 hour clock an' all!!).  Good thing I didn't miss the 16:30 train!
