Are you suggesting that they're kinda like sluigs then? If you pour salt on them, they shrivel up and die?

I havent heard that one before I'll make some enquires today.

Aboriginals definately have a much lower tolerance to alcohol though..which makes them exceedingly drunk & aggressive...its a massive problem over here. The general perception is that they get get paid by the government to drink...(benefits are much higher for them y'see)..I believe its a similar score for red indians in the states..

I know most japanese are lactose intolerant also.

The french are the worst..they eat snails..errughh!

My pleasure...

As for Aboriginals being allergic to salt, the general consensus in the office today is that no one has heard of that....everybody chipped in and said they were allergic to booze...

As you've probably guessed white Australians have a very very low opinion of Aboriginals...

There doesn't seem to be anything on google or snopes about aborigines being allergic to salt. shrug.gif

Back on the subject of grimness, a little bird tells me that our newest recruit has a tale of grimness to make you recoil in horror! bleh.gif

Ew - cant wait!

As for the salt thing I think this maybe a case of my insanely defective long term memory making it up. The cheap beer for native indians is true though - they do that in Canada for sure - cause I saw it! Apparently when we turned up to 'buy' their land we used blankets... infected with smallpox... nice people arent we?
