Reading

Have a look at this site and do the test to see what your average reading speed and accuracy on comprehension is (they do also sell software to help you improve it - we may well invest as both D and I are interested in improving our reading speed).

Mr S, since you've already been on a course, we expect great things from you!!

JDK got 258 wpm reading speed with 82% accuracy.

I got 327 wpm reading speed with 100% accuracy.

Have a go!!

Very interesting stuff.  I'd love to do a course on this.

My reading speed was 259 wpm with 82% accuracy.

D - I can literally read you word for word.

... So I had to vote 'No'. Any questions?

I managed 540wpm and 82% - which is more than quick enough for me - one thing I would say about the test though - is that the answers are obvious because they lean towards the advertising of the online course and also everyone I have spoken to (some who now read at 1800wpm with 90%) say its much more difficult rapid reading on screen and I agree.
