Apparently Tony Blair is stepping down on the 9th of May.

Blair's long goodbye ends on May 9

Tony Blair will finally announce his departure to the media on Wednesday May 9, triggering the Labour leadership succession...A May 9 announcement will mean Blair leaving Number 10 for the last time at the end of June, 10 years and eight weeks after taking office.

I mean, I watch the morning news every day and the evening news most days and I don't recall anyone mentioning this.

That said, when I googled for it after reading this article, it's not like anyone reputable was carrying the story.

Ho hum. I'll go back to my...stuff and things, now...

Its one of those reporting whats going to happen stories - they really hack me off - the idea of news is reporting what HAS happened!!!! grrr....
