I'm thinking of something...

Sorry.

Is it a garden chair of some sort?

No.

So cold that if you went paddling the sea would freeze around you.

No.

Ok so Shaz is really testing us here (you're mean you are).. and I'm getting confused, so allow me to summarise:

-------------------------
it's not living
it's not mechanical
it is not edible
it's not found in most people's kitchen (but you could put it in there if you wanted)
it can be found in the garden - but not exclusively
it is not primarily metallic
it does not require electricity
it is not made of wood
it is not made of plastic
it is not a tool of some kind
it's not blue
it is not a garden chair
it is not a table
it is not a washing line
---------------------------

so.. is it made of some cotton?

No to stone, no to concrete. Define similar.

Kind of stony or concretey. Brick, maybe. Or slate. Paving slaps.

Is it tiles?

is it hard?

Is it soft?

Is it rough?

Is it liquid?

Is it tiles? - no

is it hard? - yes

Is it soft? - no

Is it rough? - not very

Is it liquid? - no

Nothing wrong with my spelling. It's the typing that causes me a problem. no.gifdoh.gif

So it's hard and not very rough.

Is it generally found on the floor?

Is it generally found on the wall?

On the floor, unlikely. (If we're counting floors as internal)

On the wall, well, you could do I suppose.

Oops, sorry, big mistake! Very common on a particular kind of floor. (Still not the internal kind)

The right thing has been guessed, sadly this was in the wrong thread & so doesn't count.
