Why I love Mondays.

Three hours to get to work.
The only time in my life I've had to get off a bus because I was feeling too travel sick to stay on.
& highly annoying things about a certain colleague which I probably shouldn't rant about on work's time.

So happy!

I think you probably should...

I love Mondays because I have to get up early and drive to work in the cold. And then do stuff and things for a few hours before going home again. I particularly like the environment in the office on a Monday, which is composed primarily of people moaning about how intensley they dislike Mondays, which makes for a lovely cheery atmosphere.

I also love Mondays mornings because I get to listen to one particular colleague (yes, that one!) tell me, in great detail about the things he, his family, his friends and even some people he doesn't know got up to over the last few days.

Skip the next paragraph...

This weekend, he went on scout camp with... er... the scouts. Noeither of his intensely annoying sons is a scout so I have no Idea why he helps out. They had to clear a garden. I won;t give you all the details as they were very dull, but the three girls who went with them didn't do any work because they didn't want to get dirty. I guess that tells you all you need to know about letting girls join the scouts, eh? Meanwhile his son played football on saturday and phoned his mum to... er speak to her. I was tuned out at this point, so I'm not quite sure why. Also a frined of his knows someone who broke their arm on friday night so his friend's broken acquaintance's other half couldn't do something for someone. Terrible, that. And the garage didn't finish fixing his car which was quite distressing...

Oh sod, it. I can't be bothered.

I particularly like this Monday because I have the week off!!! yay me!

Usually I "work from home" (I use the quotes when I say it also) so its not so bad. At the moment my only early start is Tuesdays - which makes that day suck more!
