I think they have a variation but she has just refused to leave and I imagine that now that she's a bit of a "celebrity" the authorities aren't sure how to deal with her

You never know Tesco's could probably do grocery delivery - I think I heard they were successfully breaking into the Chinese marketplace.

They can deliver just about anywhere can't they? - they've probably got a helicopter!

Maybe someone should put her in touch with this woman. Looks like she's winning now (Hoorah! Some nice houses round there), didn't get as far as demolition but she's the only one left living there.

I wouldn't be surprised if the 'deal' was something along the lines of 'move house or we'll stick you in prison!'  The don't have such a good human rights record.

Everyone has a price...You can only fight for so long I suppose... especially considering JDK's point. 

That said, she did accomplish something by bringing attention to the issue, and perhaps she'll have inspired someone else to go that much further when attempting to save their own home.
