Last year (when we were living with friends waiting for our house to be built) I tore a hamstring.  I phoned NHS Direct to see if I needed to go to the doctor (they said yes) and they wanted to know if I had any bruises.  I couldn't see round the back so I took my trousers down & asked DD to check for me.  Our friends weren't back from work yet and I was stood in the middle of their lounge.


Upon verifying that I was not bruised, I realised that I couldn't get down to the floor to pull my trousers back up.  I begged DD to pull them up for me, but he laughed at me (his wife in pain and he laughs) and said he was going to leave me there for Jo & Chris to see when they got in.


All I can say is he'd better hope HE never needs help pulling his trousers up!!
