The following Dodgers have been smited by the JDK for their crimes against Jam:
All the girls! for picking on the JDK and damaging his already delicate self esteem!
The Basserd Who Nicked Copper's Stuff For the offense of nicking Copper's stuff. You are a tw*t, whoever you are and we all hope you get run over by a tram in Nottingham. Or Liverpool. Or whereever else they have trams!
Copper For the crime of playing with her Wii instead of her Jammie pals!
Same gist, but it mentioned that Bush was visiting Khazakstan (or they were visiting him) and he was going to address the 'Borat Issue'. NMight have been the BBC, but as I say, I can't find the article.
I'm not sure I'll bother going to see it though. Maybe when it turns up on Sky Movies.
Right At Your Door looks like it could be pretty interesting...
it is pretty interesting - mostly because every single place they mention that gets blown up by a dirty bomb will be where i am next week (having to fly to california for some business meetings.. i'd update the calendar but it won't let me ) - oh well good times
also the twist (that they keep going on about in reviews) was, for me, most unexpected
not a movie to go see if you feel like being happy mind you
Hmm. To me, the point of a twist ending is that you shouldn't see it coming. So telling us that there's a great trwist at the end just means that we'll be spending the duration of the movie trying to guess what the twist will be, which surely reduces the impact of said twist when it occurs.
Normally I'd bitch and moan about the critics, but the comment about th twist appears on all of the posters and in the TV trailer, too. So it's just dumb.
i agree to an extent - but i think people always feel really pleased with themselves when they work out said twists - for example, when i figured out that yon boy was seeing a dead bruce willis it only heightened my feeling of 'yeah good movie' when i was done watching (mostly because i was so proud of myself.. along with everyone else that figured it out)
also, it creates a good talking point with people discussing the fact they thought the twist was 'going to be this', someone else thought 'it was going to be that' and then the one who always says 'yeah i figured it out after two minutes'
