Congrats on the new doggie, I had a Springer when I was a kid. We had to give her away to friends because she kept getting loose by jumping our fence.

Not to hijack this thread or anything, my current doggie Layla (a Cocker Spaniel) got attacked by another dog tonight while we were running in the park. She is ok and came out with just a scratch but it was very traumatic (probably more for me than her). Everyone send her (me) best wishes on a speedy recovery.

Here she is

Nice work, Damo.  Dogs are great, even ones made of wee.

Yup.  Get better soon, Layla.  And learn judo.  Very handy against big dogs...

My heart rate is doing fine now, just still a little pissed about it though. Layla is a little sore today I think. I cleaned her wound last night when we got back and she was ok about it. This morning she would not let me get near it. She keeps licking the hell out of it though, I guess she is keeping it clean herself.

Awwwwwwww! What cutie puppies!

And since this seems to be the animal thread, I'd also like to introduce my new kitten... Peewee (aka Silverbolt, aka Thaddius )

...And with his new buddies Karma (pink collar) and Buddha

Can we infer from this that you have not yet settled on a name for the animal yet?

Even after all these years, Rochester still responds to any number of names, including 'fatboy', 'sh*thead' and 'f*cking claws!!! You BA*STARD!!!'.

Well see he was originally supposed to be named Silverbolt.

Then, once we got him home, I said "You know, he looks like Peewee Herman.. Grey suit, white shoes, skinny..." and Darrin said "PEEWEE! THATS IT" He flat out refused to go back to Silverbolt after that, so his name really is Peewee. I blame it on having caught Peewee's Big Adventure on cable the night before.

But Jackie refuses to call him Peewee and instead refers to him as Thaddius because she thinks it's more dignified

Hmm.  Silverbolt...

Or is there another one that I'm unaware of.  Given the Masterpiece Prime in your old office, I suspect that this may be the origin of that fine name.

He was a rubbish looking toy, wasn't he?

That kitten already looks like its plotting to take over the world as all cats do...

Where's my mail sack....

Hmm, first picture; cute, cute kitten.  Second picture; evil destroyer of universes.  Finding hard to make up my mind!

Buddha's looking as adorable as ever, definitely my favourite of your pets.

Well that is pretty fitting. One minute he's all cute and snuggled on your lap purring his little heart out... the next he's ripping something apart in another room Probably why his nicknames are both "little man" (and Buddha is "big man") and "master of disaster"

And Buddha appreciates your kind words. He wagged, bowed... and then ran off after the kitten... short attention span you know

Yeah you should see the Prime collection now. See there's a Transformers collection, and then an Optimus Prime Shrine Collection. I'm half expecting to walk into his office one day and see him lighting candles and chanting.

But alas, the Silverbolt in question was the Beastwars version:

Beast Wars was cool.  Silverbolt in Beast wars was cool.  But there was no areoplanes combining to form giant robot action there.  We must have the Arialbots!

Done.  But only cos you said 'pretty please'.

Aawwwww, that's quite enough, I feel truly honoured!  (He may've just been checking the kitten wasn't destroying universes!)

Ok everyone.  Now you know what to buy me for Christmas.  Any of the above.  I particularly like the War Within Prime.  He's cool.

There's even one that transforms into the end of guitar!  Amazing!
