I'm poorly. I'm not at work. The first sick day I've had in 4 years. I have a cold (I believe it may be D's cold from last week) but in addition, I have swollen glands. They might strangle me. It hurts.
No-one wants me at work - they're scared they might catch it.
I'm all alone.
I did just cheer myself up though by talking to a nice man in Yorkshire and ordering myself a long black tulle skirt and a black and dark red brocade steel boned corset - Hoorah!!
Had to talk to the man because according to their website my hips are XL, my waist is L and my bust is 14 - what is going on?!! I thought I was just a 14! He was very helpful and knowledgeable about such things as having a corset that's too big and your boobs falling out (don't want that) and how because it's steel boned I can have it smaller than my waist because it's strong enough to just lace it up really tightly!!
Can't wait to get them - hoping to wear it to the work ball in September!! I'll be all tiny waist person!!
