Went and saw my Minnesota Lynx play basketball last night with 'the Swede.' Svetlana looked good, but did not play very well, Theresa did though. And we won in overtime.

Here's the kicker, we scalped tickets for $2.50 each, get to watch the game from the fourth row. Then we go to my stomping grounds, where they redeem tickets for a litre of beer! $2.50 well spent.

wow, i just wish i knew what you were talking about


 


(actually, long time ago i managed to get free tickets to see the (as they were then) charlotte hornets.. it was very nice (if not a tad boring))

Ahoy there matey. Hmmm, let's see:


Scalper: Dude selling tickets on the street, 3rd party stuff. $19.00 tickets purchased for $2.50

You find basketball to be boring eh? Fair enough. I actually thinks it's one of the more entertaining of games to watch. Lots of action. The problem with the Hornets is that they:


1) Weren't very good


2) The venue was a ghost town, no one showed up. You could hear a mouse fart in there.


One hasn't seen a basketball game until you roll with Teams Canada and Sweden. Then the drinking, dancing, yelling is on! A good time for all.
