The following Dodgers have been smited by the JDK for their crimes against Jam:
All the girls! for picking on the JDK and damaging his already delicate self esteem!
The Basserd Who Nicked Copper's Stuff For the offense of nicking Copper's stuff. You are a tw*t, whoever you are and we all hope you get run over by a tram in Nottingham. Or Liverpool. Or whereever else they have trams!
Copper For the crime of playing with her Wii instead of her Jammie pals!
i've been on vacation the last couple of days. didn't go anyhwere or do anything -- spent most of the time between being a mouse potato and couch potato. Dido appeared on one of the morning shows here and they asked her what she missed most about home, and she replied "Tea". she said that American's don't really know how to make tea, so i figure there's a real good chance i'm doing it wrong.
Don't bother with the teapot thing (they ain't worth the bother - all this warming the pot and letting it mash ) just dunk ya teabag in ya mug, whizz it round for a bit, dunk it in and out of the water a few times, whip it out add milk & sugar and Bob's your uncle.
let me correct the previous post kenick.. as a tea addict i can assure you there are about 13 different ways to make a cup of tea and very few of them are right
so.. to contradict (mud wrestly soot?):
you should boil the water in the kettle (something i know many american homes are without.. interestingly enough, i think maybe you have one tho.. hopefully)
you MUST then pour a small amount of the water into the TEAPOT .. swish it around and pour that water out **warming the pot** (very important)
then start to pour the rest of the water in the pot and throw in two (or three) teabags.. (not those sweet tea lipton type ones.. try english/irish breakfast) ..
put a little bit of milk in the bottom of your cup FIRST .. then pour the tea - the sooner you pour the tea from the pot, the weaker it'll be - this is where you get to choose.. hehe
and i rest.. the tea making process is an art, and dido is correct.. teabag in a cup: .. squeezed teabags:.. american tea in general:
(i lived out in NC for a year, it was a difficult tealess time )

Nate what kinda tea do you drink....I drink tea all the time, and how KT has described it is EXACTLY it sorry sooty none of this dunking the teabag in the cup crap, mash the tea, not too long mind, and pour in cup. ALWAYS put the milk in first. Mashing should only take about 2 minutes then it's ready. You can usually get about 2 cups of tea per teabag

Hmmm....<pauses a moment to ponder on the implications of the next response>
Well, of course JD's go with anything, but until you've tried tea in the correct way, and dunked your JD in your tea, you can't fully appreciate the JD

But im with nate on the "no milk in anything but milk" Black tea, black coffee, milky milk. Although i do have to say that i need milk for my cereal (when i eat it that is), especially weetabix - hot milk and plenty of sugar on each one = yum!!
