Well, you may or may not have noticed that you couldn't post for a bit today.  Seems it's up and running again now!

Due to unforeseen, and very unlikely catastrophic failures of both our primary database servers there were brief periods of downtime Monday night.

Oh trust me, ebay was considered, but it wasn't really in a saleable state, I guess shoving a magazine under a bathroom floorboard ain't the best way to preserve it!

My dad did that once.  Kinda by accident.  He was working in the bathroom and had a hilarious incident with a pipe full of water.  My mother was unimpressed...


No porn in it though.  Not that I know of, though...

I had pipes full of water up there, ones that people had previously disconnected but not emptied!  How eewwww is that?  No wonder copious quantaties of bleach didn't always get rid the smell of drains!  Looking forward to a sweeter smelling house!

I pulled it all down with a crowbar from underneath, sadly there won't be a new one for a while, but quite frankly the joists, pipes & floorboards are a whole load more attractive than that hideous green artex   The kitchen does need redoing too, but this was mainly to give easy access to bathroom pipework.


I only flicked through it, didn't take too long!
