Apparently I was described as a 'valuable resource' in the Manager's meeting yesterday... Is this a good thing? At least I'm not just a number!

Thats a bad thing - if you are invaluable at your current post you aint gonna get promoted/moved up out of it anytime soon

DD - have faith its just possible that this would protect during a re-structure if they have one!


Probably wouldnt do any applications for new jobs from you any favours but hey you cant have it all!

No one mentioned skill, Stead.  I just want to know how valuable I actually am to the Company.  Do you reckon I could trade myself in for, say a new car?  Or should I be setting my sights a bit higher...   or lower?
