Yay!

Being the wonderful animal mom that I am, I decided it would be a nice gesture for me to move Darwin from his teeny 10 gallon tank to a very spaceous 29gal.

However, this was a rather dicey situation. With my stunning ability to kill a fish just by looking at them funny (as Jackie can attest to), it was debatable whether or not he'd live through The Great Tank Switch 2005. I had started off with 5, and Darwin is the only survivor... hence his name

I'd like to report that Darwin D'Feesh is doing just fine in his roomy new home and now has the room to grow to his full 10" Calico Ryunkin size clap

Is he a closet phirana?  Only he seems to have bitten the arm off that poor old chap with the beard.

I'm glad he lived - well done -

Do you think the blue shiny "Sea bed" will freak him out?

Perhaps only a pirana with plastic aquarium figurines since I sill have all my fingers

The glass beads don't seem to bother him at all. Same beads he had in his smaller tank... been over a year with them and he seems to enjoy digging in them. Should be ok.

I had a goldfish that would nibble at my finger when I put it in ... it was like I could pet him.  *sigh* Alas, poor Sharkie ... I miss him ...
