The following Dodgers have been smited by the JDK for their crimes against Jam:
All the girls! for picking on the JDK and damaging his already delicate self esteem!
The Basserd Who Nicked Copper's Stuff For the offense of nicking Copper's stuff. You are a tw*t, whoever you are and we all hope you get run over by a tram in Nottingham. Or Liverpool. Or whereever else they have trams!
Copper For the crime of playing with her Wii instead of her Jammie pals!
We'll see Nate, I gotta pull for my Illini. Probably won't get near as far this year because they lost all but one of their starters from last year. Indiana would be my second choice as far as supporting. Good luck!

Nope, Nate, but I grew up near there. I went to Southern Illinois University. I grew up in Decatur, IL about 30 miles from Champaign-Urbana. I always kind of kicked myself for going to SIU because the U or I is such a better school but I was just following my friends to SIU like a turd. Plus I would not have met my wife so all worked out in the end.
Decatur is where the Red Star is. Champaign-Urbana is to the east. Carbondale (Where SIU is) is to the south. I am currently in St. Louis to the south west of Decatur.
Ah yes, The Salukis. Iowa's current head coach, Steve Alford, and IU alum, coached there for a while. I remember him winning a few games in the Tourney a while back with them.
That's pretty close to Bloomington, Indiana, where I went to school.
Sounds like it all worked out for the better, then!
Hence the beauty of College sports, you get the sport and you get to revel in your past a little.

Illinois' current coach Bruce Webber was the head coach at SIU when I went. My senior year they made it to the Sweet 16, a pretty damned good accomplishment for a mid-major. They got beat by UCONN who won it all that year.
