Dude!  It's been a while.  How's it going?  Made it to New Zealand yet?

Aye that's quite a change of plan.  Gotta confess that I had to look up Togo 'cos I'd never heard of it...

Here's a link if you need more info about Togo

I'll be going on a humanitarian mission from 3 to 6 months, to work mainly in education and reforestation, and the reason(s) I decided to go there was/were, that I had never visited Africa yet (the sub-saharian one, since I've already been to Morocco), I got bored at my job in the U.A.E (and the whole IT thingy) and needed to shift careers, I still haven't found someone to settle down with (dunno if I should be happy or sad about that), I love helping people in need, I still cannot manage my expenses (sad but true) (and many other things that I cannot mention... )

I guess that what I've learnt from working in the Gulf for a couple of years is, that this is definitely not the way I want to spend the rest of my life (i.e. sitting on a desk, facing a PC)

Now I have around 3 weeks to pack up my stuff here, head back to Lebanon and spend the first x-mas with my family in 3 years, then do all the necessary vaccines (and believe there are plenty do be done), and I should be moving towards mid-january.

I will try and be around as much as possible for all the time I have left here, because I doubt that the internet will be quite available there, but if it is, I think I'll be creating a blog and let all the people follow up on my daily (boring ) activities.
Now the good part is that I'll be partying on new year's eve in an appartment just 5 mn away from an Anthony Pappa concert
What are you guys planning for the holidays?
