Food and Drink

I thought I'd make a post for those of you that don't have the pleasure of witnessing my antics unfold on Facebook.

First up, on Thursday, I enjoyed my 100th cup of tea of the year. I celebrated by taking my favourite mug to work and decorating my notepad appropriately. there's even a bit of glittery confetti there, if you look carefully!

I've had some comments along the lines of 'You drink too much tea' and 'only a sad git would count them'. My answer to those points are 'No I don't' and 'Don't care'.

Next up, I met a lady on Friday who told me that Fish was better then curry. She was wrong and it prompted me to make a venn diagram:

Discussion of this diagram eventually got round to how I rated lots of different foods, which inevitably let to a scatter graph:

I decreed this scatter graph far to boring and made a prettier one:

So that's pretty much what I've been up to over the last few days.

I don't think I've ever drunk iced tea. I can't imagine that it's very nice... especially the diet version. Yuck.

Real tea rocks! My personal favouriate branch is Yorkshire Tea, which is not made in Yorkshire.

Was it the preposterousness of the centre section that made you laugh?

The world is a better place when you have diagrams to explain it for you!

I'm thinking of having the food scatter graph put on a t-shirt which I can wear to people's houses when I'm invited to dinner. Then they only have themselves to blame when they serve up cauliflower and I throw it in their faces!

It's to help them, you understand.

Are you basing your dismissal of cauliflower on stuff that's been boiled for half an hour?

No. I'm basing it on cauliflower. I just don't like it. At all.

Cauliflower is a wonder-veg. You can make mock-mashed with them, or "rice" it and use it like that, it's great in baked casseroles and covered in cheese.

nom nom nom

We're going to be having something with cauliflower in it tonight.

Or you could just eat poo and be done with it. I would rather eat a tarantula than cauliflower.

With or without fangs?

Technically you can eat the fangs, but they're really hard, and not that pleasant, but after baking they snap right out.

Surely it's the hairs you want to worry about?

The hairs aren't too much of a problem cuz when you cook them most of them burn off
