The following Dodgers have been smited by the JDK for their crimes against Jam:
All the girls! for picking on the JDK and damaging his already delicate self esteem!
The Basserd Who Nicked Copper's Stuff For the offense of nicking Copper's stuff. You are a tw*t, whoever you are and we all hope you get run over by a tram in Nottingham. Or Liverpool. Or whereever else they have trams!
Copper For the crime of playing with her Wii instead of her Jammie pals!
So... moving on from the cliches thread - what's the most quotable movie you can think of?
I personally find myself quoting the movie Snatch more than any other, for such memorable lines as:
I f*ckin hate Pikies!
D'y like Dags?
You were reversing Tyrone. When you reverse, fings come at ya from behind.
Do you know what "nemesis" means? A righteous infliction of retribution manifested by an appropriate agent. Personified in this case by an 'orrible **CUCUMBER**... me.
"leslie escaped with a small friar.... leslie ran away with a chicken?!"
"Oh, don't worry. Before this iceberg melts and we drown like rats, we're going to do plenty. Yeah? What? We're gonna starve!"
"Course there is one good thing, when one was young, one could play along the corridors. I used to ride my pony up and down this corridor when I was young, then I grew up, got drunk, and fell off!"
"I ain't no native, I was born here!"
"You cheated! Cheated! I hate you! I refuse to accept! I won't win any way but my way, you've ruined my reputation, do you hear?! You I hate! You and your hair that's always combed, your suit is always white, your car is always clean! I refuse to accept! I challenge you to another race!"
Come now, this must not go much further without mentioning Monty Python and whatever the Holy Grail movie is officially called. Infinately quotable. You could easily reduce this whole theard to most quotable scene. Unless we're talking quotable in real life situations. Then maybe not so much.
"It's only a flesh wound!"
"Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries! Now be gone before I taunt you a second time!"
"I don't want to go on the cart!"
"Help, help, I'm being repressed!"
... only a select few. Shame on your for not thinking of it sooner.
I'm goign to have to go with Ace Ventura or Dumb and Dumber:
Ace Ventura, Pet Detective:
"Ahh, could you talk in my good ear? I thought I heard you call me Ace." "We're going Downtown." "Hi. I'm looking for Ray Finkle... And a clean pair of shorts!" "Heinz Kissvelvet. I am Trainer of Dolphins." "To train ze dolphin, you must zink like ze dolphin." "Yes, Satan? Oh, I'm sorry, sir. You sounded like someone else." "Don't kill meeee!! Pleeheeheeheeheeeezzz!!!" "Good evening, Captain Stubing. How are Gopher and Doc? Permission to come aboard, sir." "If I'm not back in five minutes… just wait longer."
Dumb and Dumber:
"It was a good one!" "No way! WE LANDED ON THE MOON!!" "So you're telling me there's a chance... I read ya!" "What was all of that 1 in 1,000,000 talk?" "What are the chances of a guy like you and a girl like me... ending up together?" "Have you been doing a little boozing have you?! Huh?! Suckin' back on grandpa's old cough medicine?" "When I met Mary, I got that old fashioned romantic feeling, where I'd do anything to bone her." "Nice set of hooters you got there!" "I just figured she was a raging alcoholic!" "You just tell me where to sign, bud." "That John Denver is full of **CUCUMBER**, man." "Mmmm... that sounds good; I'll have that." "I called her up and she gave me some crap about me not listening to her enough or something like that. I wasn't really paying attention."
Come now, this must not go much further without mentioning Monty Python and whatever the Holy Grail movie is officially called. Infinately quotable. You could easily reduce this whole theard to most quotable scene.
How about "Out of the door, line on the left, one cross each..."
Sorry if I'm a bit late with the ole contribution, I've been away, see. But it was too good to let it pass..
