I despise AOL, sorry. Between their interface and their "Get 100 free minutes" and you use 50, then they start billing you 4 months later crap... Flies would leave a fresh turd to follow AOL around!

you do need aol - but not AOL.. just AIM (aol instant messenger) which is just a messenger program like msn messenger - and it's quite nifty too - i am an avid aimer, it's where i spend most of my days

I'm always on aim.. it's usually how I pass the days at work.. (other than this *wonderful* board of course ).. If you dont want to download the aim software you can use Trillian...

And once you do get it working... you can't receive files...


It's a bit crap so I just downloaded the real aim software.
