It's always been slow for me at work, but it's normally nice and speedy at home.  For some reason though, the last week or so has been slow.  It ain't pretty.

Don't think it had anything to do with the graphics as they load up really quickly - it seems to be the main body of the page that has the problem.  Not sure what to do about it.  Any suggestions, anyone?

So... it seems that it was the stats box (with the current uernames and max users stuff) that was causing the general slowness on my work computer.  I tried taking it off and wizziness ensued.

Now personally, I can live with it being slow at work as I just kinda refresh it between jobs to see what's been going on, so the question is... keep the awesome stats box and lose fast page loading goodness or lose the stats box and gain speed beyond your imagination.  As far as I know, only me & stead have an ongoing problem, so I'm inclined to keep the stats.

Not sure that your slow experience was the same thing - probably a crappy server somewhere between you and activeboard.  This is all to do with the stats box querying the database and techy stuff like that!
