What total bollocks!  The guy's a complete fruitcake.

A quick google gives me a reliable source (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi?cmd=Retrieve&db=PubMed&dopt=Abstract&list_uids=10885632) which tells me "The cumulative risk for schizophrenia by age 38 was 0.93 percent for men and 0.35 percent for women."  I mean, California may be a permissive society, but I very much doubt 3 times as many men as women wear heels!
