Sadly, as I'd have to pay £7 for the privilege of my bank processing your cheque, unless you were planning to be exceedingly generous I think this will have to be one of those situations where it's the thought that counts. So thank you for the thought smile

Have now reached the point where I'd happily do it again, when I first landed you'd have had to pay me vast amounts of money to even consider it! It's the getting going that's scary though, now I've done it & successfully stayed alive I'd quite like to another go 'cos I'd probably enjoy it more the 2nd time, I'd be less nervous about leaving the edge!

I did a bit of abseiling with the scouts years and years ago. You're right - it's going over the edge that's the problem. The rest of the trip down is fine (assuming you don't reach terminal velocity).
