So this guy made a video and uploaded it to youtube. Then he ripped it and uploaded it again. He did this 1000 times. It was an experiment to what effect the compression would have on the image and sound.
Strangely enough, the 1000th version has just as much scientifically useful knowledge as the first...I'd say the experiment is a success if it kept him from passing his genes to offspring for the amount of time he expended......Ben

He needed to experiment with that? if he had just looked at how compression works he would have seen how that was going to go without having to spend time doing it a thousand times...
