The following Dodgers have been smited by the JDK for their crimes against Jam:
All the girls! for picking on the JDK and damaging his already delicate self esteem!
The Basserd Who Nicked Copper's Stuff For the offense of nicking Copper's stuff. You are a tw*t, whoever you are and we all hope you get run over by a tram in Nottingham. Or Liverpool. Or whereever else they have trams!
Copper For the crime of playing with her Wii instead of her Jammie pals!
Oh sh*t, we will never hear the end of this I've taken odds until I hear the phrase the greatest sporting moment since 1966! How many times was this an English bid rather than British considering that Scottish, Welsh and Irish tax money will be spent regenerating part of one of the dirtiest smelliest cities in the world.

To be honest - I know NYC was reeeeaaallllly pushing to get the Olympics here.. but I'm sort of glad that they didn't. I just don't see this little island being able to handle that kind of influx of people all at once. Traffic is horrific as it is. Hell even the 4th of July caused delays of many many hours.
Say nothing of the fact that we don't even have a stadium to host them in yet - and that was part of the problem - the big wigs are DETERMINED to build a stadium somewhere - they just keep getting shot down.
Then I read this little piece from a New York newspaper - and I suppose it makes sense...
Even as NYC2012 bid leader Dan Doctoroff and mayor Michael Bloomberg exited the hall, they were told by IOC members that theirs was "the best presentation in 20 years."
That wasn't enough to give Gotham a fighting chance, and the long-expressed belief of Olympic analysts was that Bush administration policies were working against NYC2012. "How can you give the festival of peace to a nation of pre-emptive strikes," one IOC member was quoted as saying.
The fact that New York faced a last-minute main stadium snafu, losing the political fight on NYC2012's West Side proposal before reviving its bid with the planned new Mets stadium, seemed to give IOC voters a tangible reason to vote against New York without having to admit the political aspect.
Ouch. Bloomburg's probably really pissed. He was so banking on this.
All the Mets or Jets need to do is threaten to leave and go to New Jersey. Thats all the Cardinals did here in St. Louis to get a new Stadium. They threatened to move to some crap little town in Illinois.
and it just crossed my mind.. when billy and i were thinking about booking a hotel now.. we'll be in our thirties and have an unidentified number of children (possibly) by then.. that's weeeeird
