Shooter's Station burglarized...

Apparently the alarm company didn't believe me when I told them last year to take me off their call list after I sold the store last year...I got the call this morning at 0442 hours that entry had been made at the store and deputies were responding...When I got through on the phone everybody was a little too busy to fill me in so I'll get the details on the news tonight like everyone else...My Mom said she saw it on the 4PM edition on channel 13 but I wasn't tuned in...Here's the only news story so far, but it doesn't give many details...Ben

Edit: Another story and yet more coverage

So what's the value of 60 guns then?

More of a complex one than it seems on the surface I guess.

There's the value of the guns to the store; the street re-sale value, which would probably be much much less; and some sort of pseudo-ethical value based on the number of gunshot victims multiplied by the carbon footprint of the manufacturing process and divided by the size of the late Charlton Heston's estate...

When I checked yesterday, the inventory was not complete, but they were estimating wholesale value between $40,000.00 and $50,000.00...When the burglary occured when I still owned the store in 2007, 54 handguns were stolen and after all was said and done, the insurance company sent a check for $52,000.00...

Here is a link to some video of the incident...Ben
