(See what I did there?) Taiwanese Player 'Beats' World of WarcraftAll achievements completed, Social life questioned. US, December 3, 2009 - What was once thought to be impossible has become reality.
A Taiwanese player has become the first person in the world to complete all 986 achievements found in World of Warcraft, reports CVG.
"Little Gray" on the Wrathbringer server managed to killed 390,895 creatures and completed 5,906 quests in total, according to the WoW Armory website. As you would expect, however, there is one slight problem that should be noted.
The player has yet to earn the holiday achievement 'BB King' but due to a bug with an old PvP achievement, he managed to earn two points, giving him 986/986.
It's unclear as of now if one man completed this feat or if it were many. It's possible this account was shared amongst a group of skilled guild members.
But still, it's hard to imagine playing a MMO game and finding yourself with nothing to do.
I'm assuming this is a video game of some kind and I further assume that since this dude has no other reason to consume oxygen, he will do the honorable thing and swallow his own tongue......Ben

It got too boring to tolerate within a couple of weeks of playing and there are people out there who have played it for years without getting close to completing it. I got to the point very quickly where I didnt care if my character lived or died anymore - that was the trigger to let it go !
I would imagine this was a shared account of some kind - you'd have to be exceptionally sad to do this on your own -

Really, it's a community thing. I've been playing with the same people for almost that long. I also take big breaks.. sometimes for a couple of weeks. The grinding does get to me, so I stop playing for a bit, then I come back and all my guildies are there and it's this great big reunion. It's always nice to go somewhere and find that people have missed you ;)
I have to agree that the only reason I stuck with CoH as long as I did was because of the social aspect. I'm still in touch with several of the people I used to play with on Facebook or by e-mail, but have no particular yearning to play the game again. I tried a few months ago, but just didn't enjoy it!
