Ideas for my day off please!

OK - here is the deal -

I have the week off and dont want to spend all of it decorating, playing computer games or slighly downloading work emails and doing them (like I kinda did this morning - oops) -

So I am looking for suggestions for things to do on Thursday - if you all throw in ideas, we will have a quick poll and provided the winner is legal/possible and semi-sensible I promise to do it on Thursday -

It will add some variety to my week off and make you guys feel like you are having a day from work too (kinda - but maybe not)

Ok - so its over to you!

Or does this idea suck? Its so hard to tell....

May I humbly suggest that you visit the monkey enclosure in Bristol Zoo?  You are very likely to meet members of your family there!

You may also find several entertaining things to do on this website which, I know is right up your... er... alley.

bungee jump off Clifton Suspension bridge

skateboard down Park St

Play frisbee at the camera obscura

climb the Cabot tower, followed by lunch at the hope and anchor

go and see a foreign film at the watershed

Walk to Ashton Court and take in the view

go to the chinese supermarket off Gloucester Road and buy some sheeps eyeballs and a big cleaver

Go to the city farm in St. Werburghs (is that right?) and play with the ginger, spikey haired pigs

Ah, what i could do with a day off in Brissle, makes me feel warm inside

Which bit, exactly makes you feel warm inside?

Why do I have a niggling suspicion that it's the ginger, spiky pigs?

not far off the mark there matey - those pigs are wicked, they're dog sized and whilst they have black skin they are covered in thick ginger spikey hairs, feel amazing to touch and they're really friendly (in a completely non-sexual way, before you start)

I'd appreciate knowing they were still there actually as they were 'temporarily' removed during the whole foot and mouth business

oooh, other Brissle things to do - well there's always the 'massage' parlour at the bottom of Gloucester Rd. thats entertaining so I hear

Urm.  I am torn between the pigs (which sound cool) and the baby prosimian at Bristol Zoo.

Ah.  The Citi-Center Sauna.  Always looked nice.  Classy, even.

Raw fish.

There's only one way to eat fish.

NOT AT ALL!

Can't be sure why you would.

Now, cooked seafood is another story!

I'm confused.

If cat food is what you feed to your cat and dog food is what you feed to your dog, why isn't seafood what you feed to the ...er... sea.

On the flip side... if sea food is made of stuff you find in the sea, what is dog and cat food made out of?

You're over thinking it, dude. If you are presented with fresh, cooked Lobster, Shrimp, Scallops, etc... Just eat it!

have you ever tried sushi? it's amazing, my new favourite thing.. but for the record, sushi isn't just raw fish.. you can get a 'maki roll' - which is the one i think of when i think of sushi with the rice and the seaweed.. but it doesnt have to be raw fish on the inside, in fact the other night i ordered one with a yummy deep friend soft shell crab middle -mmmmmh

(officially i think 'sushi' refers to the lump of raw fish ontop of a piece of rice, but still)

The comment '8 hours is enough for me' that Stead made when he logged off City of Heroes at about 8pm last night suggests that he did not make use of any of your excellent suggestions...

Shame.  He would have enjoyed the pigs.
