Is no news good or bad news?

My husband has gone to London to attend a conference that will basically tell him whether he has a job to come back to tomorrow.  He hasn't been in contact yet.

So the question is... Is no news good news or bad news?

This is the kind of thing that you could go back and forth on all day long.

He may have just been tied up at the conference - or talking to people - and he hasn't had a moment to call.

Don't drive yourself batty thinking about it

I'd resolved not to do that before he even left this morning.  I knew it was likely he'd be tied up all day.  You could tie yourself in knots worrying about it, I know.

I have other things I can carry on worrying about before I need to start on this one, believe me!

Funny, I didn't think I'd shrouded it in its invisibility cloak when I wrote it.    Ah well.

It was in fact mediocre news.  He still has a job for now, but the message was - 'Start looking for something else cos this ain't gonna last'.  Not great huh?

It's a worry , but hopefully Simon should be able to find something he's suited to within the company.  Time to dust off the CV and start taking some training courses methinks.

That and I'll have to think about working full time.
