Annoy A Teen




Have you ever wanted something that would simply drive your teen nuts? Well, here you go!

This app is very simple: it plays a high pitched tone every time you press the button that is very annoying to teens and inaudible to most adults!

Some restaurants around the world play tones like this to drive away rowdy teenagers who scare away business.

Actually, I'm not convinced that a mobile phone speaker has enough range to do this effectively - perhaps Stead or Hangle could offwer opinions.

Or even better, perhaps Aodan or Halo could try it out for us!

Hmmm I think I'll have to try this one out at the next family party. I'll play it around my cousins and see if they flee....

Oddly.. my husband CAN hear this.. I cannot.  I was playing around with the website's demo videos and he was yelling from across the room to turn it off... I couldn't hear anything at all.

Perhaps I have a new weapon... hmmm confuse

Heh heh heh. I may have to try this when I get home! I wonder how sensitive the cats will be to it...

I seem to remember there was something similar to use the mobile phone as an insect repellent some years ago. Unfortunately I dont think it will work because even if a phone speaker could churn out sound at high enough hz to affect teenagers, I dont think it would have the volume to make an impact.
