RIP! Chef!

Sad to say Isaac Hayes, best known to people my age as providing the voice for chef on South Park, but actually a legend for having co-written great songs like "Soul Man" and "Hold on, I'm coming" which were brilliant.

RIP dude - 65 is too young to go!

His poor family.. the article I read said that they found him lying unconscious (probably already dead) next to a treadmill.

First Bernie Mac, now this... these things come in threes ya know... I can't help but wonder who is next. I've heard rumblings of Samuel L Jackson...

They were all starring in the movie "Soul Men" which is in post-production at the moment..

I'll remember him for his music but but more for his acting roles..."Escape From New York" is his best known but I liked him best as Gandolph Fitch on "The Rockford Files"...He also had an uncredited role as "Mr. P" in "Shaft...Ben
