So there's this thing where people see colours when they listen to music and stuff like that and it has a very long and quite unpronounceble name.

Anyway, some scientists have made this video and people who have it can supposedly hear sounds as they watch it.

Oddly, I kind've can, although it's just a bit like heavy breathing over the phone or something, which is what some of the people in the comments after the article report, only really really quiet. I wonder if I'm just being influenced by what I read. That said, it occurrs to me that when I have a bad headache, bright light seems to cause tinnitussy sounds.

I didnt hear anything msyelf - but I do have to say that it sits firmly in the ridiculous that newscientist would post a video requiring you to listen intently and then stick a blast of pointless electronic music at either end of the video - talk about amateurs...


I'll fly this through the studio when I get a chance to determine if there is actually anything on its soundtrack.

They are when they do that - I turned the sound up to see if there was anything on the audio file and blasted with house music -

No not the first time - but I did have the volume up and was 'listening' intently - hence my displeasure at the noise. Just no common sense...
