Time to replace the crossbow?

Perhaps this might help.

That is very VERY cool - probably not a precision weapon, but it would put someone down at close range. Ben can probably tell us more.

I wonder, if its PRIMARY purpose is a flashlight... can I have one in the UK?

Not really pocket sized as advertised, though is it? Maybe if you're wearing a big coat with big pockets. Like a giant's coat.

It's been around since the S.H.O.T. Show earlier this year...It's more of a gimmick than anything else...The full-auto version will not be available to civilians in the U.S. as it is not a pre-1986 firearm...The semi-auto version may become available in the future but may be considered a "destructive device" which will put it in the same category as the full-auto version...What's the point?...

I'd rather have my flashlight in one hand and my .45 in the other...Ben

OK so to be clear -

You cant own an automatic unless its older than 1986?

What's the difference between full and semi-auto then?

A fully automatic firearm will shoot until it runs out of ammo as long as the trigger is depressed...A semi-automatic firearm will fire one round of ammo each time the trigger is depressed and will fire as fast as the shooter can operate the trigger...For me, full auto is just spray and pray...There's no accuracy involved...I'd rather shoot one round at a time and be accurate...

In the U.S., a fully automatic firearm made in 1986 or earlier can be bought, sold or transferred by civilians only after a lengthy background check and the payment of a $200.00 fee to the government...This must be done through a Class III gun dealer (My licenses, when I was in the business were all Class I)...Full autos made after 1986 are for government use only, but may be owned by Class III dealers to be used as samples (read fun) and when transferred can only be passed to a govrnment entity or another Class III dealer...

Semi-automatic, single shot or revolvers can be bought and sold by anyone who is legally entitled to own one...Ben

Here's a fun one:

Sorry, Jon...I couldn't live with myself if you were to cause Darren undue duress and discomfiture by knocking on his door with that in your hands...How about a nice flamethrower instead?...confused...Ben

I can think of worse things Stead could have in his hands when I open the door to him.

:shudder:

Hmmm, barbeque season is upon us I suppose - but I'm very much a shock and awe type. Anything I can say to reassure you it'll only be used for 'leisure'?

Shooting poor people is still classed as a sport, right?

This is what happens when you don't keep up with the payments!

Anyway, if Ben won't let you have the gun, perhaps you could consider this alternative for close encounters: The Unbreakable Combat Brolly!

Seriously...

That's all well & good, but does it still blow inside out when it's windy?

OK Stead...I found a deal on some AA12's by the case but I had to take a warehouse of FRAG12 ammo to go with them and I'm sure you'd rather have just plain 12 gauge buckshot, right?...

What is FRAG12, you ask?...Funny you should mention it...

FRAG AMMO FRAG AMMO!!!!! Damn I wish I knew who invented that stuff so I could shake them by the hand - any video of them being tested on poor people? It's important science...
