...and I have a wet head.


Well despite the 80 mile per hour (gasp!*) winds and torrential rain, we suffered no damage at all over the weekend.


Shame we can't say the same for Carlisle.

Funny.  The TV news has been showing loads of really bad flooding - in some cases half way up the side of buildings - but all the BBC site had was this naff picture of an overly large puddle.  I don't know if that's a water mark up the side of those houses at the back.


I hope his briefcase is ok...

I wouldn't have fancied being on this crossing. 


You get a beautiful view of the landscape on this route, but I'm glad I wasn't on this particular one.

When I lived in Swansea (I had a house that overlooked the bay), I woke up one morning to find an oil tanker at the bottom of my drive - that was soooo cool - It was russian and they wouldnt let the sailors off as we didnt have a customs lol -


But you never realise just how big they are until you stand next to one!
