I've just been to an up and coming part of West Australia (cos I'm on holiday, see) and I thought you'd be interested to see how the other half lives.
The attached photo is of a house that's for sale in Mandurah (about 1hr drive south of Perth) for $11,000,000. In English money that's about £5.5m and if the exchange rate hasn't changed much since I've been away about $11m in US dollars.
Actually in pounds its about the same as 77p - the AUS Dollar isnt an internationally recognised currency so its only actually worth the paper its printed on...
