I was just wonmdering, Ben... since you work in a gun shop... do you ever worry that the Terminator will come in and ask for a plasma rifle and when you don't have one, shoot you with one of your own guns?
Come to think of it - there's a bit of a cliche in Hollywood movies of bad guys going into gun shops and asking to look at guns and then casually filling them with ammo and shooting the shopkeeper. Does that ever actually happen?

Gun stores are among the least likely places to be robbed around here...Especially ours...Every employee has at least one sideaem on him in plain view...All guns in inventory are unloaded and before it's handed to a customer for inspection, the action is opened and verified to be empty...The gun doesn't leave view of the employee while it is in the customer's hands and at no time is a gun to be loaded while in the store...
I've had obvious gangbangers and other ne'er-do-wells enter the store, look around and decide the pickings are easier elsewhere...Behind the counter, in strategic locations are loaded rifles and shotguns which are not for sale...They are strictly for use when someone is stupid enough to attempt a hijack...So far it hasn't happenned in our ten years of business...Ben

I don't think you'd get the most out of the experience, Stead. I'm pretty sure they don't give gun licenses to people with a long history of really wanting to shoot people! Or psychos! So if you went out there and started carrying a gun, Ben would be forced to shoot you.
