Movies in Texas.

Mr Truckman, sir. Perhaps you could confirm something for me. In conversation with a friend, I was told that in Texas it is illegal to talk during Clint Eastwood movies and, because everyone's a cowboy, it's very likely that you'll just be shot where you sit.

Is that true?

This is the stuff urban legends are made of...While it is certainly an offense to talk above a whisper during a Clint Eastwood movie, we don't shoot anyone for it...Think of the noise, man...A simple slitting of the throat does the trick without disrupting the continuity of the film's plot for the audience...

The same rules apply to Juhn Wayne, Vin Diesel and Steven Seagal movies as well...And of course we're not all cowboys although we all own herds of cattle and horses...Some of us are in the service industry, for instance: gun dealers...

Hope this clears up some confusion...confused...Ben
