What will you be throwing me over exactly? A jack russell? That would probably be quite easy. Now if it was a 6 foot fence - that would probably be more difficult...

I wonder if the lack of any explanatory text at the top of the board might leave people a little perplexed as to our purpose and therefore less inclined to join or post. There's a bit of text in the meta tag which is picked up by google but doesn't really appear anywhere else:

Maybe we should concoct a short, clever phrase to appear under the JDBB logo and then create a sticky 'welcome' thread or link. Also, it may be worth considering that the logo itself is a bit offputting to people - is it a bit garish, meaning that anyone who has a reasonably visible monitor can't visit us at work for fear of being spotted?

We've always gone through quiet phases like this as some of our more talkative (postative?) members, including myself, find themselves busier then usual. Hopefully we'll pull out of that phase again soon - still, more members never hurts. I challenge you all to each persuade someone new to sign up!
