The following Dodgers have been smited by the JDK for their crimes against Jam:
All the girls! for picking on the JDK and damaging his already delicate self esteem!
The Basserd Who Nicked Copper's Stuff For the offense of nicking Copper's stuff. You are a tw*t, whoever you are and we all hope you get run over by a tram in Nottingham. Or Liverpool. Or whereever else they have trams!
Copper For the crime of playing with her Wii instead of her Jammie pals!
Not proper spaghetti, but the tinned stuff in tomato sauce (does this exist over the pond?). Not had any for years but had a hankering for it the other day & on opening the can I was shocked to find long strands in there, not the short pieces I expected. It was also soggy, as opposed to the very slightly chewy texture I remember. WHAT IS GOING ON, DAMMIT?!!!!!
Pasta in a can never fails to disappoint. Full of sugar as Stead mentioned and lots of other things that don't belong in there its just better left on the shelf :)
I used to eat it as a kid and thought it was good, but I couldn't bring myself to eat it now.
I think you are all missing the point of the original post which is cravings - tell us did you want your pasta with ice cream have you got something to announce?

No, was Heinz. Probably even if it had been identical to the way it used to be all it would only have reminded why I've not eaten it for years, but that's so not the point!
See, I deliberately didn't use the word "craving", I used "hankering", which is quite, quite different & has no connotations. However, as a result of your digging, I am delighted to announce that I have absolutely nothing to announce.
It's sunday afternoon, now - I think. My body is telling me it's way late cos I got up at 8am yesterday and haven't slept yet. I had a small tin of batman shaped spagetti a month or two ago. I was expecting it to taste rather like the cheap stores-own-brand spagetti, but with added bat coolness. It tasted more like sh1t, though.
