Hey All

I got the chance to talk to Nate on the phone today and it was very cool to put a voice to the face/the name/the Avatar!

He is flying tomorrow so we wont get the chance to meet up in London but he had a 'jammie' breakfast this morning and was pleased to receive them!

It was good to talk to you Nate me old mate and I hope we get the chance to meet for real sometime in the future!

Yep, Monday morning, around 9:00 am! I was surprised Stead answered, it seemed to be ringing forever... thumbsup.gif

My voice is pretty deep, people used to think I was my father when I was 10 years old and answered the phone!weirdface I think some of the locals were simply not able to understand me with my accent/voice having no treble, I got plenty of 'pardon me's?!' hmm

Stead's voice was perfectly fine, an English gent. if you ask me! A little higher pitched than I was expecting... biggrin wink

Hmmm, record a .Wav... Doable, where to store it, though? confused

I have 2 speaking voices - they change whether or not I have been singing. If I have its much deeper - if not its kinda hard work to 'drive' my voice so it tends to be a bit higher and cracks a bit. I'll record both!

Two thoughts here mate - either record it and then covert it to an mp3 in which case you can email it to me and I can host it - or failing that record yourself talking on a webcam or summit and stick it on youtube (you can always block out your image or point the camera another way).

I, on the other hand, will be using a state of the art digital recording studio, which in no way will enhance the 'chocolatieness' of my voice... ehum

I actually got me 'mike' fired up yesterday and gave myself a couple of auditions... I'll fire off a .Wav and see what happens... In terms of pics, well, perhaps we'll wait until I get some London pics back!! smile

As the wise Steadman was saying, one's voice changes... My voice is always deep... But it drops down quite a bit in the early AM and PM.

I happened to catch Mr. Stead pretty early, on the rise, so my voice would have been deeper than normal... Not to say that it's ever light... biggrin wink
