Sleepwalking, anyone?

I am reliably informed that during the night I climbed out of bed, stood at the foot of it and announced that I was concerned about the 'things' at the end of the bed. On being told that it really wasn't a problem (apparently I took some convincing), I returned to bed and fell asleep immediately.

I have no memory of this incident, so choose to believe that it never happened.

Move along. there's nothing to see here... except the 'things' at the end of the bed. I'm quite worried about them!

No. A night terror is something entirely different.

OK lets be clear - you aren't diagnosed - you have absolutely NO idea what you suffered from last night. You dont even know you technically suffered from sleepwalking, or a nightmare or a night terror.

I was responding to the situation based on what you told us. I also based it on having lived with someone who was CLINICALLY DIAGNOSED with night terrors. Her symptoms at times EXACTLY mirrored yours, symptoms which I have discussed with several medical professionals, including a top specialist in the field, ALL of who described her symptoms, including the ones which were THE SAME as the ones you described last night as being NIGHT TERRORs rather than sleep walking or nightmares. All things considered - I think I will take their views over wikipedia.

Really your self important dismissal of other peoples views beomes quite tiresome sometimes.

And you're a pedant - a boring pedant, who bores people to the point of boredom even to the extreme of extreme boredom where the ONLY CHANCE THEY HAVE TO GET AWAY FROM YOU IS TO THROW THEMSELVES UNDER A TRAM!!! A TRAM!!!!!!

I'm sorry Stead, but really I think you've overstepped the line this time, I mean that is just too harsh & totally unfair. There are actually many ways to kill yourself & finding a tram would be too much hassle for many of us.

True. They have trams in Nottingham. And, um... Manchester? I can't think of anywhere else offhand.

I think I'll stick to blenders if that's ok...

I was, apparently, once found standing naked in front of a fridge freezer trying to put my trousers in with the frozen peas.

I have no recollection of this, but the person who told me does not have sufficient imagination to have made it up.

And no, it wasn't Mrs. Santa....
